The Grand Forks Border Bruins have suffered their first playoffs loss after going down to the Kimberley Dynamiters last night in game three in the KIJHL Neil Murdock series.
Luke Davies netted the winner for the Dynamiters over the Border Bruins with his fourth of the playoffs late in the third period.
Tristan Weill led Kimberley with two goals and Josh Hager made 18 saves on 21 shots.
Hunter Paterson scored twice for the Border Bruins, while Brandon Gray scored their other goal.
Eric Kahl made 30 saves for the evening.
The penalty-kill for both teams was strong with the Border Bruins going 2-for-2 and the Dynamiters 4-for-4.
The Border Bruins continue to lead the series 2-1 as they head back out onto the ice tonight in Kimberley for game 4.
