Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Services responded to an incident at the Paulson Summit Saturday morning around 8.
Fire Chief Terry Martin they used the jaws of life to remove a man from a vehicle.
The occupant of the vehicle sustained non life threatening injuries.
Martin says the man was conscious and talking to responders throughout the rescue.
