Grand Forks fire fighters and the RCMP are looking into the cause of Monday’s wildfire.
Fire officials say the crew of 14 in seven vehicles including two bush trucks attacked the blaze above Granby Rd.
They also had two tenders, two utility trucks and a fast attack vehicle.
The fire, about 25-by-40 feet in size had spread into the trees, burning the lower branches by the time fire fighters arrived.
