It was caused by lightning.
Information Officer Karlie Shaughnessey says there are benefits to letting it burn.
It’s close to Lower Arrow Lake and no communities or structures are in danger.
Meanwhile crews are tackling a half-hectare fire near Westbridge.
It was also caused by lightning.
