It’s the annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday to raise money for cancer research.
Six local communities are taking part including Grand Forks.
Nelson organizer Pat Gibson says it’s been 36 years since Terry began his run across Canada.
Registration for the Grand Forks run begins at 9:30 a.m. and the run starts at 10 a.m. from outside the main entrance to the aquatic centre.
The route is 8 km and is suitable for bikes, wheelchairs/strollers and rollerblades.
Dogs on leashes are welcome.
