Nelson police are currently treating the incident of the man who was found with serious injuries on Vernon Street last week as a probable fall, not as a result of a violent act.
But they’ve called for any witnesses to come forward.
Here’s Sgt Paul Bayes.
They have yet to interview the man who was taken to hospital after the incident around midnight Thursday night.
Bayes says there are privacy issues as well so they need to respect that.
