A project to bring faster internet to rural areas in the Boundary and Columbia Basin.
Aimee Ambrosone is the Chief Operating Officer of the Columbia Basin Broadband Corporation.
She says when finished it should boost service to 2,600 residents in the Kootenay-Boundary.
She anticipates the project to finish by summer 2018.
