Protest ahead of IH laundry decision
A decision from Interior Health is expected imminently regarding the future of laundry service.
The service could potentially be outsourced to the lower mainland.
A number of employees gathered outside Nelson City Hall Monday calling for the service to stay.
Sophia Dricos was the main organizer for the rally and is with the anti laundry privatization committee.
A number of jobs are at stake.
She says there has been great support from the community.
