A fatal collision near Rock Creek yesterday afternoon.
Cpl. Chad Badry with the West Kootenay Traffic services says the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions.
Highway 3 was closed for several hours.
The gender, age and hometown of the person who died has not been released.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Kelowna Hospital with serious injuries.
