The Union of BC Municipalities has endorsed a resolution from the City of Grand Forks about water.
It was brought forward by councillor Julia Butler and asks the BCÂ government to look at ways of protecting water sources from private investors.
Mayor Frank Konrad believes it’s an important topic.
Two other Grand Forks resolutions also passed.
One suggests re-evaluating the annual cut of the province’s logging industry and another the other was around surveying municipal tax collectors.
