The BC Coroners Service has identified the man who died in a crash near Rock Creek on Oct. 3 as Douglas Lawrence Leighton, 50, most recently of Surrey.
Leighton was the driver of a car heading west on Highway 3. Near the intersection of Myers Creek Road west of Rock Creek, the car collided with an eastbound pickup truck. Leighton died at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate.
