A family of bears has been put down in Grand Forks just three weeks after a similar incident.
Conservation officer Dave Webster says the mother and two cubs were in the area for a month.
Webster says bears like this aren’t good candidates for relocation because they’ve been raised to find easy food sources.
And for public safety the only option was to euthanize them.
You’re reminded not put your garbage out the night before collection and refrain from using birdseed in feeders.
