The milfoil control program at Christina Lake will be getting a new vessel.
The program has been in place for over 30 years and RDKB Area C director Grace McGregor says it was time.
The new boat will cost just over $57,000 and has been budgeted by the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary.
It’s currently under construction and should be in the water next year.
