Police searching for suspect in Grand Forks robbery

Grand Forks RCMP are still seeking tips about last month’s hold-up at Subway.

On April 17 around 8:30 p.m., police received a report that a man armed with bear mace robbed the restaurant at 575 Central Avenue and ran off.

Officers arrived within minutes and began canvassing the area with help from a police dog team. Police didn’t find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a man in a blue coat with a Canadian insignia on the right arm, grey sweat pants, and a black floral patterned face mask.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or can identify the man in the images seen here is asked to contact RCMP at 250-442-8288 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or submit a tip online at bccrimestoppers.com.
