A local politician wants you to take advantage of the federal government’s Canada Summer Jobs program.
South Okanagan-West Kootenay MP Richard Cannings says it’s meant to help applicants further their work experience.
It’s open to those who work in the public sector, in a small business of under 50 employees or a non-profit organization.
To qualify you must be between 15 and 30.
Applications must be in by January 20.
