One person is in hospital and another has a court date following a single-vehicle crash outside Christina Lake yesterday.
Fire chief Ken Gresley-Jones says a westbound Ford Explorer went off Highway 3, flipped several times, and landed in the ditch.
The passenger was taken to hospital in Kelowna by helicopter with serious injuries while the driver suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
However, RCMP say the driver was arrested and taken to the detachment in Grand Forks to provide a breath sample. He was released on a promise to appear in court on March 14.
Both men were in their 30s and from the area.
There was also a single vehicle rollover west of the lake yesterday in which the driver suffered minor injuries.
