Eco Society looking for climate action breakthrough

The West Kootenay Eco Society is looking for three key elements to come out of this week’s climate talks in Vancouver.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to have some hard discussions with first ministers in crafting a national climate action strategy.

Montana Burgess – the Community Organizer for the Nelson-based environmental group – says she wants to hear how the voice of Canadians will be brought into the discussion.

Burgess also wants to see a deadline set for the national climate plan and details on the scope of it.
