Police in Grand Forks arrested five people during a bust this month in the 5900 block of Division Street and seized a loaded handgun along with stolen property.

RCMP said the search warrant was executed on Oct. 1 with help from an emergency response team and police dog services.

Of the five people taken into custody, two were determined to be uninvolved and three others were released pending furhter investigation. RCMP expect to forward charge recommendations to prosecutors.

In addition to the gun, police seized suspected fentanyl and hydromorphone, along with packaging and scales, over $10,000 in high-endmountain bikes, stolen tools and generators, and $2,000 in cash.
