Grand Forks city councillor Colleen Ross will represent the NDP in the May election for Boundary-Similkameen.
She won Sunday’s nomination meeting in Oliver against Brenda Dorosz of Osoyoos, although vote totals weren’t released.
Ross says she’s ready to get down to business and is taking aim squarely at Premier Christy Clark.
In particular she condemns the decision to move ahead with the Site C dam.
Ross will face incumbent Liberal Linda Larson and an as-yet-unnamed Green candidate.
