Avalanche Canada has issued a special public warning for parts of our province including parts of the Boundary.
Forecaster James Floyer says upcoming warmer weather will increase the hazard.
He suggests avoiding any avalanche terrain when skiing.
The warning applies mainly to areas around Christina Lake.
