If you live in Grand Forks you may have woken up to a surprise this morning.
The city’s warning residents that tap water in some homes may be discolored and odd tasting.
However, this isn’t harmful and is simply a result of switching to a previously idle well containing iron and manganese in the lines.
If this happens to you, you’re advised to run your tap until it returns back to normal.
