A former teacher at Grand Forks secondary who sent porn to a student won’t be back in class anytime soon.
According to an agreed statement of facts the incident took place in January 2015.
Robert Stevenson texted a Grade 12 student over the course of a few days.
It included explicit messages, a link to pornography, and a shirtless photo of himself.

The student felt uncomfortable and did nothing to encourage the messages.
In June 2015 the district placed Stevenson on leave and in September he resigned.
As part of his agreement with the teacher regulation branch he’s barred from the profession for 10 years.
