The City of Grand forks is receiving a $10,000 Canada 150 grant in partnership with the Downtown Businesses Association.
The funds are going towards the downtown heritage signs project, supplying signs to businesses in historical buildings or on historical sites.
Downtown Business Association chair Lynn Relph describes what the signs might look like.
To showcase the historical sites for residents and visitors, a walking tour is also being developed.
