A semi-trailer carrying lumber crashed just between Grand forks and Greenwood Tuesday afternoon.
Highway 3 was closed at Eholt so the accident scene could be cleaned up.
School district 51 trustee Katie Jepsen was heading back to Grand Forks when it happened.
She says it was a very close call.
Luckily nobody was injured, although debris damaged Jepsen’s vehicle.
Correction: An earlier version of this story described the semi-trailer as a logging truck, but it was not carrying logs.
