The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is asking residents to prepare for high river levels Thursday.
Environmental services director Alan Stanley says sandbags are available.
The Kettle and Granby Rivers are expected to reach levels as high as or higher than last weekend.
A number of low lying areas in the Boundary experienced flooding as a result.
