The Chamber of Commerce and Grand Forks city council are at odds.
It started at Monday’s committee of the whole with a delegation from the Downtown Business Association.
The association is a sub-group of the Chamber of Commerce.
Councillor Christine Thompson alleged the Chamber broke its bylaws during their recent election.

Mayor Frank Konrad then suggested all funding from the city to the Chamber of Commerce be held until further notice.
A special public meeting is being held at May 29 at 2 p.m. at city hall to resolve the issue.
