Council rejects recording in-camera meetings

In-camera meetings of Grand Forks city council will not be recorded electronically.

It was a suggestion put forth by councillor Bev Tripp, in hopes of minimizing what she claims to be bullying.

Tripp has also previously stated she has felt attacked, a remark mayor Frank Konrad called “absurd.”

Tripp and councillor Julia Butler were the only ones to vote in favour of the idea.
