The Royal Canadian Legion branch 59 in Grand Forks is hosting their first annual free veterans luncheon next month.
Legion member or not, if you’re a veteran, you’re invited.
There will be a roast-beef meal and a guest speaker talking about the service-dog program.
Secretary Sandra Doody says it’s thanks to their poppy trust fund.
Doors open on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
Doody asks that you call before Oct. 6 to reserve a space.
