A small grass fire was quickly tended to by the Christina Lake fire department on Saturday.
It took about 20 minutes to completely extinguish the flames.
Firefighter Sheldon Weigel says it was by a power line.
He also says Fortis BC was on scene.
A Christina Lake resident saw smoke on her way to work and reported it immediately.
