Grand Forks Search and Rescue is still waiting on an answer from city council.
Training officer and treasurer Andres Dean explains.
Dean says they offer a selection of services for all of Kootenay Boundary.
They also just had two new rescue teams approved for training: swift water and flat-ice rescue.
