A Grand Forks city councillor is heading to the World Food Championships.
Neil Krog, co-owner of Twisted Forks Catering, has been competing in barbecue competitions for years.
He says qualifying isn’t exactly a piece of cake.
Krog and his wife Andrea are one of 500 teams competing for the $100,000 first place prize.
The World Food Championships are Nov. 8 to 14 and you can watch it on multiple TV channels.
