The Grand Forks Credit Union doesn’t want you to think a potential amalgamation with six other institutions will mean drastic change.
Jeff Fero with marketing and community relations says it’s still in the very early stages.
Fero also says the amalgamation’s purpose is to create more options, not take them away.
Grand Forks Credit Union is one of seven credit unions considering joining forces into a single entity.
It’s been operating for nearly 70 years and serves over 8,000 members.
