It was a peaceful Thanksgiving weekend for Grand Forks Fire and Rescue.
Chief Dale Heriot says it was quieter than it has been lately.
The crew usually expects about 35 calls per month between August and September.
But this year fire and rescue received over 100.
Heriot says they were called for just about everything and there wasn’t one specific cause.
