The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary has received a $10,000 grant from the BC government.
RDKB Area D director Roly Russell says they’ll use it to make plans for the Hardy Mountain Doukhobor Village outside Grand Forks.
A solar farm is one possibility, which would be the first of its kind in the Boundary.
Russel hopes to have the plan by 2018.
