In the KIJHL the Grand Forks Border Bruins suffered a pair of setbacks over the weekend.
Saturday at home they fell 4-2 to the Columbia Valley Rockies and in Fruitvale Friday they were shellacked 7-2 by the Beaver Valley Nitehawks.
The Castlegar Rebels went 2 and 0 in a pair of home contests.
Friday they skated to a 5-0 victory over the Kimberley Dynamiters and Sautrday they thrashed the Golden Rockets 9-2.
The Nelson Leafs had mixed results.
They beat Golden 7-2 at home Friday but lost 3-0 the following night in Creston.
