Boundary chamber promises quarterly report forthcoming

The Boundary Country Regional Chamber of Commerce may not have ticked all the boxes for Grand Forks city council, but insists it will.

The chamber came before council on Monday to present a quarterly report and request a fee for service, but several obstacles delayed the presentation.

Executive director Kendra Begg explains.

But with the addition of three new board members and the approval of the quarterly report, Begg says it should be presented soon.

Begg started with around 60 chamber members in june, and has since doubled that number.

She’s projecting 140 members by 2018.
