If you’re a rancher, farmer, or business owner who waters land, you’ll want to attend a workshop Monday.
BC’s new Water Sustainability Act means non-domestic groundwater users need to pay fees to get a license.
But Kettle River watershed co-ordinator Jessica Mace says you can avoid those fees.
The workshop is at Midway’s community centre from 10:30 to 2:30.
You’ll need to bring a certificate for your land, evidence of first use of groundwater, and details of the well or other works.
