This weekend you’re invited to join the Grand Forks Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59 for Remembrance Day.
Their poppy fund campaign also comes to a close on Saturday with all proceeds go towards supporting local veterans.
President Terry Doody says as usual they’ll have a parade.
Afterwards at the Legion you can speak to veterans from World War II, the Korean War, and the Canadian Armed Forces.
Another service is being held the day before rememberance day at care facilities for those who can’t attend.
