RDKB’s union pleased with new contract
The union which represents employees of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is happy with their new collective bargaining agreement.
CUPE 2254 members voted 89% in favour of ratifying the deal last week.
CUPE national representative John Hall says the deal is fair to both sides.
He says negotiations were conducted in good faith.
The agreement expires at the end of 2019.
The union represents approximately 85 members.
