The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary has posted a counterpetition for potential fire hall adjustments in rural Grand Forks.
The changes include two new fire trucks, and a fire hall extension worth $760,000.
There would also be a slight tax increase for fire services.
Forms must be in by Dec. 27 at 4:30 p.m.
If about 300 eligible voters sign it would stop the changes.
