Trail makes temporary fix to streetlights

The city of Trail is continuing to try to fix the issue with the street lights in the Glenmerry area.

A temporary fix has been set up with temporary overhead wiring running to the relatively new LED  lights.

The city is still working to permanently solve the issue.

The city’s Andrea Jolly says it’s important to keep providing lighting there.

It was first reported last Tuesday that the lights from Lily Street to Glenmerry School and from Highway drive to Carnation Drive had stopped working.
