Daylight Saving Time could be a thing of the past if a local MLA’s bill is successful.
The City of Grand Forks put a motion to on the floor at the Union of BC Municipalities meeting in September and MLA Linda Larson picked it up as a private member’s bill.
Larson says she’s received lots of feedback to the idea of keeping our clocks on the same time year-round.
She also says the City of Grand Forks inspired her to do some research.
Larson will have to renew the bill in February because the last sitting of the BC legislature has ended.
