Boundary mayors look forward to new year

2017 is coming to a close and the Boundary has a lot to be excited about for the new year.

Grand Forks Mayor Frank Konrad says the city will keep going strong.

Konrad also notes a municipal election is coming up.

He’s expecting new invesments and grant opportunities.

Greenwood mayor Ed Smith says the city’s getting a statue to complement their mining culture!

Smith also says flood damage to Greenwood’s roads will be fixed in January.

He’s also looking forward to another Founders Day celebration in July.

Work has began on City Hall, and will continue in 2018.
