BC Assessment has rolled out its property valuations for the Boundary for 2018.
Deputy assessor Ramaish Shah says our region has a stable market.
The price of a typical Grand Forks home is now $234,000, last year’s value was around $213,000.
In Greenwood the average home is valued 8.5% higher than last year at $141,000.
Midway properties saw the biggest increase in value in the Boundary.
A typical home there is now worth $209,000, that’s 14.2% higher than last year’s average of $183,000.
