Greenwood resident thankful for community support after fire

An industrial fire in Greenwood early November took a resident’s home, but she says she’s doing awesome now.

Trish Duxbury says it all started when the power went out in her fifth wheel.

She used an extinguisher and anything else she could to put out the flames herself.

Duxbury was in the hospital for smoke inhilation, but friend RJ Lesher had an appartment with furniture, clothes, and food waiting her arival.

Duxbury also says saying thank-you doesn’t feel like it’s enough, and she’ll do what she can to pay it forward.

She adds that power outages are still quite scary for her.
