Family Day Festivities this weekend in Grand Forks
This as the City is starting the final phase of it's Voltage Conversion Project.
Family Day is almost here.
Grand Forks has a long list of events, activities, and festivites to celebrate!
Last year about 400 people gathered downtown
Deputy Coorperate Officer Daniel Drexler hopes to see as many this year.
He says the key word is “free”.
Drexler adds that it’s important to bring the community together.
Celebrations start Saturday February 10th at about 11AM.
Market Avenue will be closed from 2nd street to 4th street, 3rd and 4th street will be closed between Market Avenue and 72nd Avenue, and the alley between Market Avenue and the highway will be closed from 3rd street to 4th street.
Those street closures are from 7AM to 3PM.
