Could removing cell-phones from classrooms improve student learning?
Grand Forks Secondary School kicked off their second semester with a phone-free policy.
Principal Brian Foy says the students are handling it respectfully!
And they’re getting plenty of attention.
Foy adds the new policy shouldn’t interfere with safety during an emergency as all classrooms have phones anyways.
Students and staff are required to leave electronic devices behind during teaching hours.
