The Grand Forks Border Bruins might be out of the KIJHL playoffs, but they still have lots to be proud of for their season!

The Bruins made it to game 7 in the first round, coming back from a 3-0 series deficit against the Nelson Leafs.

Bruins Coach Emery Olauson says that doesn’t happen often.

He also says there’s a pattern across some teams.

Olauson says their thanksgiving weekend was a peak for the team.

The Bruins also vaulted to first place with three home wins.

Olauson adds the Bruins can also proud of sweeping the Fernie Ghostriders throughout all 3 contests of the year.
