This year’s Grand Forks Canada Day Parade is a few months away but it’s not too early to decide on a theme!
That’s according to Community Futures Boundary, who are holding an online contest.
The winner gets their theme, and will be the Parade Marshall.
Resource Worker Anna Lactin says it needs to be inclusive.

She adds the route will likely remain the same.
However last year’s temperatures inspired a shift in schedule
Last year’s theme was Canada 150 and recieved tremendously positive reactions from the community.
The deadline for theme submissions is March 16th.
