Keep your car-doors locked and remove your valuable items.
Grand Forks RCMP are issuing the warning as they’ve recieved 21 complaints of theft from vehicles since January 1st.
A lot of the thefts involved unlocked vehicles and unsecured items in the boxes of trucks.
Any information regarding these thefts should be forwarded to the RCMP.

Also numerous citizens have recieved phoney calls from the Canada Revenue Agency demanding funds and updated information.
Grand Forks RCMP says this is a scam, and brochures on Fraud Awareness can be picked up at their detachment.
